Labeled Verified, they’re about genuine experiences. The representative wouldn't let my son speak for me. I'm fully disabled with one lung and with me on the line the representative would not let my son do the talking with me on the line to confirm. I have a hard time speaking and was on the line to verify my identify. But with any large lender, customer experiences can vary widely given the many staff and situations involved.

I called Planet Home Lending 3 times, talked to six different people, to try to get them to remove this late fee (which we've already paid). Understand they have a business to run, but they seem to not care...at all. Out of the six reps I spoke with only one cared enough to listen to the reason why. Planet Home Lending cannot get their story straight.

My mortgage was bought buy this company and their customer service is absolutely terrible. I can’t believe the amount of different answers I get from different people. The first person I talked to told me that the mortgage assumption process could take up to 90 days. Then, I was told up to 6 months a week later when I called them because at this point they were suppose to reach out to the people who were assuming my loan.
Planet Home Lending can be a good choice for people looking for more traditional mortgage options and who would rather work with an independent lender than a large bank. But borrowers must be comfortable with online and phone support because this lender has limited branch locations. And its lack of transparency can make researching its products, rates and terms difficult.
David and Heather kept us informed about every step of the process that we were going through. Even when there was stressful points they let us know they had our backs no matter what and would let us know if something changed. We had a late fee on our mortgage in July, which Planet lending reported, and now 30 years of excellent credit is in the garbage...I mean a 170 point hit...for a late fee!!!.

My second loan changed hands a number of times. Nobody returns your calls and they Keep adding interest and penalties. If your mortgage ends up here, best to refinance and stay away.
