My mortgage was bought buy this company and their customer service is absolutely terrible. I can’t believe the amount of different answers I get from different people. The first person I talked to told me that the mortgage assumption process could take up to 90 days. Then, I was told up to 6 months a week later when I called them because at this point they were suppose to reach out to the people who were assuming my loan.

But borrowers must be comfortable with online and phone support because this lender has limited branch locations. And its lack of transparency can make researching its products, rates and terms difficult.

I'd call it a scam if it weren't simply poor customer service and an abysmal user experience. I've been trying to get Planet Home Lending to open an escrow investigation since July 2022. It's been over five months now with no progress, and they have no valid excuses.
